BIO​

​

Jenna Hokanson is an actor, photographer, Alexander Technique Teacher Trainee, and martial artist living in NYC.
A North Carolina native, she graduated with a BFA Acting and BA Arts Administration double major from Elon University in Elon, NC.

Jenna is a year and a half into Alexander Technique Teacher Training Certification with Balance Arts Center in Manhattan.
Her acting credits include many new works and readings with companies such as Convergences Theatre Collective and Byzantine Choral Project. She was also a company member of an acro-dance piece entitled Babel, which performed Off-Broadway with CTC.

She is represented by Avalon Artists Group in NY.

Favorite roles include Celia in As You Like It and Anne Page in Merry Wives of Windsor at Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre. One of her other favorite experiences was working with John Basil at American Globe Theatre's summer intensive.

At Elon, she played Cunningham in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Terry in Extremities, Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing, Agatha (U/S Mrs.Tilford) in The Children's Hour, Netizen in Dark Play, and Chorus (Antigone U/S) in Antigone and much more.

Her experience offstage is extensive and includes arts administration, teaching, producing, house managing, asst. stage managing, set design, light board operation, ushering, props design, and more!
