Formally educated in theatre at the University of Arkansas, Kate Michael Gibson has continued her creative work since then as an actor (performing with Austin Shakespeare Festival, the Vortex Theatre, and the Austin Playhouse, among others), a writer (as author/co-author of screenplays, plays, adaptations, and novels), and as a dramaturge, archivist, researcher, and creative producer. She is also a podcaster, co-host of Sheros & Zeros as Foxie Moxie.
